Corporate Brands Around The World

Hello and welcome to my blog on branding. My name is Lisa Mitchell and I'm a brand enthusiast. I know it may seem weird, but I collect artwork from major corporate brands. As I expanded my collection, I wanted to learn more about how business worked, so I started studying the world of business. I'm not actually part of the business world, as I am currently a stay-at-home mom. But that doesn't mean that there are not a lot of things you can learn from my blog that might help your career or simply understand why I am so passionate about branding.

3 Signs A New Propane Tank Is Needed

Many homeowners prefer to use propane for their heating needs over natural gas because it burns hotter, saving money. One of the downfalls of using propane is that it is not supplied by the city and must be stored in a tank on a homeowner's property. Keeping a tank full of propane on your property is dangerous because there is the risk of an explosion, but the risk is lower if the tank is in good condition. You might not be aware that propane tanks are not designed to last for a lifetime and must be replaced after a certain amount of time has passed. If you have had your propane tank for numerous years, look for signs that it is time to invest in a new tank.

1. Something Is Wrong with the Furnace Pilot Light

If constantly having to reignite your propane furnace is becoming frustrating, you need to consider what is causing the problem to occur. The problem you are dealing with is a sign that something is wrong with the propane tank on your property. It is possible that the furnace does not stay ignited because propane has been leaking out of the tank through holes or other ways. If there are other appliances in your home that use propane, you will also notice problems with them if the tank is damaged. A propane leak can cause a big explosion, so be sure to replace the tank as soon as possible if a leak is found.

2. You Smell a Strange Odor Around Your Property

You may know that propane is odorless, so you might not connect the strange smell around your property to a leak. What you should know is that although propane is odorless, a horrible odor is purposely added for safety reasons. If you smell an odor that is similar to the odor of rotten eggs, it is a sign that there is propane leaking from the tank. In such a case, the tank should be inspected by a professional in case it is time for a replacement.

3. There's a Lot of Amount of Rust on the Tank

Propane tanks may be built to last for years, but they begin to deteriorate after a while. A sign that your tank is deteriorating is when rust begins to appear on the metal. The worst thing about a rusty tank is that the metal continuously gets thinner until holes appear. You want to replace your propane tank before such a problem occurs.
